Your negotiating team met with the employer on Oct. 5 and 6 and Dec. 6 and 7. We have had fairly productive conversations and have signed off on all but three non-monetary articles.
To provide the membership with a more in-depth update and discussion on the status of our collective bargaining, we will be holding important virtual membership meetings on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 11 am and 5 pm.

At the meeting, members will receive an update on the progress made so far at the table including the employer’s proposed solution to short-staffing, their monetary offer as well as an update regarding our complaint with the Labour Board.
We expect to be back at the table with the employer on Jan. 24 and 25, so it is crucial that all members attend the meeting early in the new year so that we can discuss our next steps and come back to the table strong and united.
