Whitehorn Village: We’re making progress but there’s more work ahead

Update for Local 048 Chapter 051, Whitehorn Village

Apr 11, 2023

Mediator's recommendations expected early May

Text only block

Your negotiating team is working towards a fair and equitable agreement that recognizes the important work you do.

The mediator has been working through the file and has been in constant contact with both parties, helping to move the matter forward.

We are pleased to report we have made progress and have agreed to four more complete articles. However, there are still outstanding monetary issues that need to be addressed.

Your negotiating team is meeting with the mediator on April 27, as he wants to get the parties together one final time, to better understand the monetary proposal and other similar agreements submitted by the parties.

We are hopeful that we will receive the mediator's recommendations in early May. If these recommendations are favorable, we will vote on whether to accept them or move the matter to arbitration.

We appreciate your ongoing commitment to this process and believe that we are making progress towards a mutually acceptable agreement. Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

If you have any questions or feedback about this bargaining update, please contact a member of your negotiating team.
