Retro pay to be paid within 60 days.
On June 27, your negotiating team reached a tentative agreement with the employer, and members voted to ratify that agreement on July 13. The agreement has also been ratified by the employer, and so we can officially report that the workers of Touchmark at Wedgewood now have a new collective agreement!
The agreement will be posted online as soon as the negotiating team has reviewed the draft. Workers can also expect retroactive payment for salary increases from September 2021 (1.5%) and September 2022 (1.5%). These will be paid within 60 days of July 17, 2023. Another salary increase of 2% will take effect in September 2023.
As these final details are executed, the negotiating team remains grateful to our members for their continued support and engagement throughout this bargaining process.
