New retro-pay information for AHS GSS members

Your negotiating team would like to share new information on the retroactive pay AHS GSS members will receive as a result of ratifying our new collective agreement.

If you are still working for AHS, you will automatically receive the 1% lump sum on your October 5 paycheque.

Members still working for AHS will also receive the second lump sum (up to $1,400, based on your full-time equivalent) by December 11, 2022. We have not confirmed an exact payment date yet. Both lump sums are in recognition of your work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are no longer working for AHS, you may still be eligible for retro-pay. You can apply for retro-pay if your employment with AHS ended after Jan. 1, 2021, and before Oct. 5, 2022. Please read this update for information on how to apply.
