Your negotiating team met with the employer on Feb. 3 and 4 to begin bargaining.
We kicked off the meetings by exchanging monetary proposals. Our meetings were productive overall, but Living Waters’ wage offer is simply not good enough.
The employer offered a 4-year agreement with the following wage adjustment:
Year 1: 2%
Year 2: 2%
Year 3: 2%
Year 4: 1.5%
We proposed a 3-year agreement with much higher wage increases, as well as a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA).
Year 1: 13%
Year 2: 6.5%
Year 3: 6.5%
We signed-off on several non-monetary items, with mostly minor changes.
Our next meetings have not yet been scheduled.
