Edmonton Catholic School Division: Wage negotiations continue but at a slow pace

Your negotiating team came back to the bargaining table on May 27 and 28 with a new wage proposal for the employer.  

We presented a full amended monetary package, which included our new wage proposal that reflects the priorities of the membership:

Sept. 1, 2024: 10% 
Sept. 1, 2025: 6%  
Sept. 1, 2026: 4% 
Sept. 1, 2027: 4%

While bargaining was productive and professional, the employer did not respond to our entire package as they responded article by article.

Due to this speed bump we have not yet heard from them about wages and benefits.  

Your negotiating team and the employer are scheduled to meet again on Sept. 9, 10 and 15.
