Your negotiating team is happy to report that the Alberta Labour Relations Board (ALRB) issued a decision on June 3. All members are awarded a 2% wage increase, retroactive to January 1, 2025. Our current collective agreement has been extended to August 21, 2025.
Your negotiating team filed a complaint with the ALRB when the employer refused to bargain based on a technicality. We will always fight any attempt to restrict our right to bargain.
We know that a 2% increase is far below what we deserve and that keep up with the skyrocketing cost of living. We remain committed to winning fair wages and working conditions we deserve. We are prepared to move forward with negotiations.
The employer has confirmed that retroactive pay will be paid to members on the July 4th payroll.
