AUPE members employed by Mackenzie County have voted to ratify a tentative agreement with the employer.
Voting took place last week on the deal, which includes four years of wage increase at two per cent, as well as improvements to benefits and changes to sick leave and hours of work.
More details on the agreement were included in the last bargaining update, which can be found here.
The new benefits will take effect on April 1. This will allow the employer to implement the changes with their provider.
Negotiations moved quickly, with only two days of talks needed to come to a tentative agreement with the employer.
Your negotiating team would like to thank members for their support and solidarity.
If you have questions, please contact a member of that team.
