Most non-monetary items addressed
Following our last update in February, your Covenant Health GSS negotiating team met with the employer again on Mar. 3 and 4, 2022. Discussions focused mainly on Hours of Work.
We’re pleased to report that negotiations remain cordial and respectful, enabling us to continue at a good pace. Most non-monetary items have now been addressed and we are scheduled to meet again on May 13, 2022.
Remember that your collective agreement remains in effect. If you feel that management is not adhering to the terms, speak to a Union Steward or contact the Members Resource Centre at 1-800-232-7284 and they will put you in touch with your Membership Services Officer.
We will update you again after our meeting in May. In the meantime, if you have any questions about bargaining, please reach out to a member of your negotiating team.
