After signing a tentative agreement with the employer in early September, the parties met again and resolved the few outstanding non-monetary issues. The mediator will write supporting recommendations, so we now have a tentative agreement for Nursing Care members to vote on!
Your negotiating team is holding virtual information meetings on November 1, to present the details of the tentative agreement. To accommodate varying shift schedules, two meeting times have been arranged. Members can choose to attend the information session from 1:00PM to 2:30PM or from 5:00PM to 6:30PM.
Your negotiating team strongly encourages all members to attend one of the information meetings and to exercise your right to vote! Join either meeting via the link at the end of this update.
It’s crucial that we have your correct contact information. Members can easily update their information here.
Members will be emailed a summary of the tentative agreement which is unanimously supported and endorsed by the negotiating team.
The November 1 virtual information meetings will offer an additional overview of the agreement by the negotiating team. Each meeting will include time to address any and all questions from members.
Voting for all sites except Calgary will take place using the third-party system, Election Buddy. Members will receive the voting link when it goes live at 6:30PM on November 1. The voting link will then remain active for the following 48 hours.
Voting for the Calgary site will be held on November 3, between 7AM and 6PM, in person, onsite in the North Board Room.
