BARGAINING UPDATE: YARROW/OPTIMA LIVING – WILD ROSE, FORMERLY 047/054

AUPE’s Wild Rose members are headed down a new path, separate from their coworkers at Griesbach and Heritage Valley, because Chartwell sold Wild Rose to another corporate care company.  

While the Alberta Labour Relations Board processes AUPE’s successorship application, we need to elect a new negotiating team (and other officer positions) at Wild Rose.  

If you work at Wild Rose and you’re interested in representing your coworkers within the larger union or at the bargaining table, please contact one of your AUPE representatives, Merryn Edwards, Guy Quenneville or Organizer Michelle Szalynski (see below for contact info). 

No previous experience is required to hold an elected position. All you need is your frontline experience and a desire to amplify the voices of your fellow members, so together you can fight for a fairer workplace.
