BARGAINING UPDATE: Rosedale Partnerships 047/055

Negotiating team frustrated by employer's lack of movement

Text only block

After another day and a half of bargaining, your negotiations team struggled to make progress on the collective agreement.

We did sign off the Probation and Orientation article and agreed, in principle, to Union Leave language, but several critical items remain outstanding. It’s been a week since we met with Rosedale, and we’re awaiting future bargaining dates from them. However, we do have a resolution hearing at the Alberta Labour Relations Board (ALRB) on May 10.

We will keep you up-to-date on any changes at the table, but if you have any questions in the interim, please don’t hesitate to contact us. You’re a unionized workforce that jumped big hurdles to organize – you deserve to be heard, and you deserve to have the protections of a binding contract.
