How to join the Candidate Telephone Town Halls

Convention delegates and alternates are automatically registered and will receive a phone call a few days beforehand to remind you of the town halls.

You will receive a phone call just before each event starts. Answer this call and stay on the line to participate in the town hall.

AUPE members who are not delegates or alternates can also participate. If you are not a delegate or alternate but would like to attend, you can register by visiting this website and clicking “Let’s Talk”  on each event you want to attend. You will receive a call for each event. The deadline to register is Monday, November 15.

You can register for as many town halls as you like, which is a good idea if you’re worried about something coming up and missing your chance to attend. Remember that only delegates will be able to vote for candidates at Convention.

Each town hall will also be live-streamed on the AUPE Facebook page  so everyone has a chance to listen.

If you are a delegate or alternate, be sure to consult with your fellow AUPE members so you know the issues that matter when you have a chance to ask your questions!
