After years of flooding, do you think your work site is safe?

AUPE members have been exposed to numerous flood and water events for several years at the Melcor Centre in Lethbridge.
Recent events led to the collapse of ceiling tiles on to work cubicles, equipment, desks and the floor.
Your employer is obligated under the Alberta OHS Act to ensure the health, safety and welfare of workers at or in the vicinity of the work site.
AUPE staff and members have brought concerns about these flooding incidents to the employer several times over the last five years to get the situation resolved.
We are sending you this survey to complete to ensure AUPE understands what you, the workers, deem is a safe workplace, considering continued water events that have occurred at the site.
