We’ve heard you loud and clear.
Your negotiating team would like to thank members employed by Mackenzie County for completing the bargaining survey.
You gave us a clear mandate to negotiate on issues including wages, benefits, vacation, special leave, overtime and hours of work.
We met to discuss the survey results on Jan. 18 and 19. We are now prepared to start talks with the employer for a new collective-bargaining agreement.
The first meetings are scheduled for Jan. 30 to Feb. 1. We will provide a bargaining update after that.
