Spring is on its way, which means AUPE’s Women’s Committee is once again accepting applications for Prairie School for Union Women, a place where you can learn

Click on the link at the bottom of the page to fill out your registration forms and learn more. Classes will run from June 9 to 13 in Saskatchewan. The deadline to apply is April 12.

Twelve spots are available and open to all women members. Whether you’re new to the union or a seasoned activist, apply now for a chance to meet fellow, like-minded members and learn new skills together.

Since workers started organizing for their rights, women have had to push that much harder for their labour to be recognized, despite shouldering some of the most emotionally intense work and revolutionizing the labour movement to be more inclusive of different communities and social justice causes.

Prairie School for Union Women provides a supportive space where you can continue this revolution and redefine what it means to be in a union where the majority of our members are women.
