Nov 02, 2022

Please attend mobilizing meeting and rally

For three years, our employer has been dragging its feet as we try to negotiate a new collective agreement.

Bargaining has reached an impasse.

In order to get past this impasse, we need to increase pressure on the employer.

We work hard every day taking care of the residents we love. We have made sacrifices during the COVID-19 pandemic, putting our health and the health of our families at risk to continue providing that care in these challenging times.

We’ve had enough of the employer’s delays.

We’ve had enough of being paid below industry standards.

We deserve better.

We deserve to be treated with respect.

We will be holding a mobilizing meeting for members on Monday, Nov. 7. We will hold a rally on Tuesday. Nov. 8.

It’s time to show the employer that we are united, we are determined and we are strong.

Please attend these events. If you are working, please join on your breaks, not during your work hours.
