Your bargaining committee met with the employer to exchange initial proposals on your next collective agreement Oct. 27 in Edmonton.
We’re pleased to report the first meeting was positive and respectful. The employer indicated its willingness to work with us on our initial offer and we look forward to working with them.
Job security, contracting in/out, no discrimination/harassment and wage equity are among the key language improvements your committee will push for.
Bargaining is scheduled to continue Nov. 23 and 24 in Edmonton.
