Strike Vote Details

AUPE members who have worked at least one shift for the Government of Alberta within the 60 days prior to May 12, 2025, are eligible to vote.

WHEN: May 8–12, 2025

WHERE: Online or in person (info below)

Members are encouraged to vote online by logging in to their MyAUPE accounts.

If you log into your MyAUPE account between May 8 - 12 and do not see a ballot, it means you were not on the list of voters. In that case you must visit an AUPE office to vote in person.

It is time for you to decide our next steps in bargaining.

A strong strike mandate shows the government that we are serious, and a strong voter turnout shows that it is not just a few of us—it's all of us. We must be ready to stand together. Your participation is essential.

Why This Vote Matters

A successful strike vote does not mean we immediately go on strike. Instead, it gives us the legal authority to strike if necessary. It also puts pressure on the government to bargain fairly and take our demands seriously.

We can fight for better wages, benefits, and working conditions with a strong strike mandate.
