About this event
The AGM will be held on May 12, 2025 and our regular council meeting will be held on May 13, 2025. Both meetings will be held at AUPE headquarters (10025-182st NW Edmonton) meeting time is 0900-1600pm, lunch will be served at noon. We will only be ordering lunch for the members / guests who have confirmed they will be in attendance as to not waste.
Please ensure that you have requested your time off via the website https://www.aupe.org/member-resources/forms/time-off-form. For the reason section please put in "Attend Council AGM and Regular Meeting." Allow 5-7 business days for the request to be processed. Even if you are not requiring time off you still need to complete the form so we know how many people will be coming and to know how much food to order.
If you require accommodations please ensure that you are requesting this on the website via our accommodations request form https://www.aupe.org/form/local-040-accomm-req. The rooms are booked at double occupancy. If you require a private room and do not have a medical note on file you will need to pay the difference, please choose that option when booking online. You will receive a confirmation of your room being held for you with 5-7 business days. Please note if you do not fill out the form there is no guarantee a room will be available for you upon your arrival.
If you have dietary restrictions please ensure that you document those in the accommodations request and if you are not requiring a room and have dietary restrictions please email Christee.
If you are unable to attend this meeting please make arrangements for your alternate to attend.
The agenda will be sent out approximately 10 days prior to the meeting and all of the executive reports will be emailed out to council members by May 5th.
If you prefer to attend virtually please let me know and I will ensure you are send the Zoom information.
