Vice President James Gault (he/him) was elected in the 2023 Convention and has previously served the union in various capacities, such as a steward, vice chair and chair of his chapter.
As a correctional officer, Gault has nearly a decade of experience working at the Fort Saskatchewan Correctional Center and has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of his fellow colleagues and advocating for positive change within his workplace.
His union activism has led him to support injured workers, navigate security and investigations, and stand strong in solidarity with his fellow members.
Vice President Gault chairs the Standing Committee for Political Action (COPA).
He resides in Fort Saskatchewan.
