Member Update: Bill 4 town hall meetings start next month

Beginning in June, AUPE will host town hall meetings across Alberta to help members learn about new labour law Bill 4 and how it may affect them. The first meetings will be held June 7 in communities across the province.

Shepherd's Care workers discuss next steps after favourable LRB ruling

Shepherd’s Care members met yesterday to discuss their next steps following a ruling from the Alberta Labour Relations Board April 28, which found that Shepherd’s Care acted illegally when it abruptly laid off more than 100 support staff during bargaining in September 2014.
