On November 23, GSS workers of Local 048 Chapter 031 overwhelmingly voted in favour of ratifying their new collective agreement. As part of the deal, workers contracted by Compass will see wage increases across the board, weekend premium increases, as well as improved leave benefits and other entitlements.
AUPE would like to thank the negotiating team for their efforts and professionalism in reaching this agreement.
The new collective agreement will be effective from June 2, 2020 through June 1, 2024.
