The new collective agreement would expire June 30, 2018. It brings in significant salary increases as well as lump sum payments (prorated based on your FTE) of $4,000 for 2015 and $6,000 for 2016. Improvements were also made to evening and night shift differentials.
The agreement also makes enhancements to benefits including increases to the flexible health spending account, $3,000 annual extensive dental and $3,000 lifetime orthodontic coverage, and a three per cent employer matching RRSP contribution.
Harassment language will also be included in the collective agreement.
