Overall, the level of engagement with the employer over the two days was encouraging. We’re pleased a number of key outstanding issues were mediated and progress was made.
The mediated items are part of an overall mediation package. Information on the entire package will be shared with members upon its completion.
We look forward to further positive discussions when mediation resumes.
Fundamental issues of employment security remain unresolved and further mediation will be scheduled in the near future to continue the process.
