Learning about your pension, especially if you are well before retirement age, is extremely important. AUPE, working with the Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APSC), is committed to offering information sessions to our members to help them learn more about their pensions and help plan for retirement.
Sessions will cover information on how pensions are calculated, early retirement provisions, retirement options, buy back service, and others for both the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) and the Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP). You can request time off for union business to cover the two-hour sessions.
Register for a session in your area online via AUPE’s online registration system. Registration closes two weeks prior to the session date.
