The meeting was called to order at 9:04 a.m. by President MacLennan.

This meeting was strictly for information purposes. The Bargaining Committee from the United Steelworkers of America, Local 9302 were in attendance and a spokesperson from the AUPE Bargaining Committee and one from USWA, Local 9302 would make a presentation. There would be a rebuttal and questions and answers.

The discussion occurred in-camera.

Once the parties came out of camera, both AUPE and the USWA agreed to return to bargaining within 72 hours.

Since Convention has to be rescheduled, some discussion ensued as to when and where. The President and Secretary-Treasurer advised that alternate locations were being reviewed.

The finalized Audited Financial Statement was presented to the Provincial Executive.

Vice-President Pollard has resigned effective October 28, 2000. He thanked the Executive for their faith in his being able to serve as Vice-President for the past year. Everyone wished him well in his future endeavours.

The next meeting will be at the call of the Chair.
