The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M in Edmonton, Alberta with President MacLennan in the Chair.

Regular reports by the Vice-Presidents and Committee were given.

A number of Motions were passed:
Convention 2008 was scheduled for October 23 – 25th at the Delta Edmonton South Hotel and Convention Centre.
Donations were made to the Friends of Medicare, Parkland Institute and Alberta Building Trades Council.

Policy 5-17 was amended to increase the kilometer rate to 45 cents.

Gardiner Karbani were retained as auditors for the 2005-2006 budget year.

The Finance Committee is reviewing Policies. Any recommendations for proposed changes to the Financial Policies are to be forwarded to Executive Secretary-Treasurer Dechant.
The Membership Services Committee tabled the recognition of the month of April being Steward’s month to next year with apologies to Convention who passed this Resolution.

The Occupational Health & Safety Committee will be held a one day safety leaders seminar at Headquarters in conjunction with the National Day of Mourning on April 28th, 2006.
