As Membership Services Officer in AUPE's Edmonton City Centre office, Maria Marrazzo has been assigned to the Government Services Sector team.

After working in the health care field for approximately two decades, Marrazzo became involved in the union movement in 1982 and in 1988 obtained a position as a Business Representative/Labour Representative with the Canadian Health Care Guild. When the Guild joined AUPE in 1999, Marrazzo transferred to AUPE as an MSO.

Maria also has extensive experience in labour relations.
With a dozen years' experience as a union employee, Marrazzo reports, "not a week goes by that I don't learn something new." She says the challenge "has enriched my life in many ways, the least of which is all the wonderful people I've met."
