Kathy Kadyk

Kathy
Kadyk started work as an MSO in AUPE's Red Deer office in April 2001.
Kadyk worked as a temporary Union Rep for several years in the Edmonton
and Calgary offices.
As a member of Local 56 at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital since
1971, she has held many elected positions of the local and chapter,
including serving as a member of the Provincial Executive. She has attended
many conventions of AUPE, NUPGE, the CLC and other groups. She was an
active member of worksite and AUPE Health and Safety committees, has
been the chair of the Health Services Sub Committee over the past year,
and a member of the bargaining committee at Glenrose Hospital for many
years. Kadyk was on the bargaining committee during the Job Action of
1998 and 2000.
Kadyk attended the U of A and received a certificate in Personnel Administration
and Health & Safety. She also attended NAIT to take Psychology and
other special interest courses. She was active in the past as a member
of the Board of Directors of the Royglenor Credit Union and was on the
Board of the United Way.
Kadyk enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends.
