Kathie Milne has been an active AUPE member for close to 17 years, holding positions within her Chapter, Local and the union.

She has been Secretary-Treasurer and Chair of Local 042/008, Chair of Local 042, Local 042 Bargaining Committee Chair, Chair of the Edmonton Area Council, Chair of the Health Sector Bargaining Committee and an AUPE Vice-President.

Milne stepped down from her Vice-President’s position in September 2004 to assume her new role as a Membership Services Officer in AUPE’s Edmonton Headquarters. She was elected VP in October 2003.

An avid gardener, Kathie anxiously awaits spring, so she can get out and plant her beloved sunflowers and perennials.

Kathie resides north of Edmonton in Bon Accord with her husband and two children.
