Angela Gill joined AUPE in 1998, working as a secretary in the union's Calgary Regional Office. From there, Gill filled a temporary role as Membership Services Officer on two separate occasions, once in 2002, the other in 2003.

In April 2004, Gill accepted her current position as MSO in the union's Red Deer Regional Office.

She holds a BA in Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary.

Before joining AUPE, Angela was employed as a social worker in gerontological services and at a woman's shelter in the private sector.

She has gained valuable experience volunteering at a local Distress Centre, where she worked with callers on a crisis line. She's also volunteered for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's societies.

In her spare time, Gill enjoys reading, painting, making hand and paper crafts, as well as spending time with family and friends.
