Vigil in Carmangay
AUPE Vice-President Glen Scott attended the candlelight vigil at the now-closed Little Bow Continuing Care Centre in Carmangay on the evening of Sept. 20. About 50 members of the community and former staff came out to the vigil. They shared stories of how the facility had touched their lives: some were born there, some had surgeries there, and some spoke about the last 18 people who lived there, who were not only residents of Little Bow but residents of their community.
