Rally at Waterford
AUPE members, supporters and other unions rally outside of Waterford of Summerlea in Edmonton to show support for a worker who AUPE believes was unjustly fired for her role in organizing the worksite. The staff at Waterford, a seniors continuing care facility, recently voted to join AUPE and have served notice to the employer to begin bargaining their first collective agreement.
