Members encouraged to sign up for Eighth Annual Charity Golf Tournament
The Eighth Annual AUPE Charity Golf Tournament is fast approaching, and members are encouraged to register soon for a great day of golf, food, and solidarity.
The tournament takes place Aug. 18 at the Sandpiper Golf and Country Club in St. Albert. Registration fees are still $110 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart rental, dinner, and the opportunity to win some great prizes. A maximum of 144 registrations will be accepted, and registration closes Aug. 3.
The tournament will be Texas Scramble, a format that emphasizes fun over competition. Golfing begins at 1:30 pm, but participants should arrive at the course by 12:30 pm in order to take their places for the shot-gun start.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada – Alberta Division.
