Government employees Health Spending Account information

The new Health Spending Account for eligible Government of Alberta employees will be implemented on Sept. 1, 2012, and AUPE and the employer are encouraging members to become familiar with this new benefit.

The Health Spending Account (HSA) is a non-taxable benefit that complements the traditional group benefit programs to help members manage their health-related expenses. For union members, the program is called MyCHOICE. More detailed information on MyCHOICE can be found on this page of the Corporate Human Resources section of the Government website.
