Childcare Needs Assessment now open
EDMONTON – Do you have childcare needs that cannot be properly met? Do childcare issues impact your ability to do your job? Do they impact your ability to take part in union activities or other aspects of your life?
Whether your answer is yes or no, AUPE Women’s Committee wants to know. Tell us about the childcare issues that matter to you. The online Childcare Needs Assessment is now open, and it only takes a few minutes to complete.
“We urge all members to participate in the Childcare Needs assessment to help us improve on policies affecting working families,” said Sandra Azocar, AUPE Women’s Committee Chair.
Information from this survey may be used by AUPE to bargain for better childcare provisions in collective agreements, to determine the needs of AUPE members for members for bargaining and lobbying purposes, and to press employers and the province for policies that benefit working parents and their children.
