Women's Build donation in Calgary
Past and present members of the AUPE Women’s Committee presented a cheque for $55,000 to representatives from the Women’s Build program at Habitat for Humanity Dec. 10 in Calgary. The committee raised $38,000 through various fundraising activities over the last two years for the program, and AUPE donated an additional $17,000. AUPE and the Women’s Committee are now turn-key sponsors for the project.
