AUPE concludes member survey, announces prize winners
Alberta Union of Provincial Employees’ second-ever, union-wide membership survey was completed on Feb. 2. The survey collected invaluable data that will help inform the union of members’ views on various union initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
Two members won $500 gift certificates to Visions Electronics in a draw of all survey participants. The winning members are Patti Penner of Local 44, Chapter 12 in Rimbey, and Barbara Line of Local 01, Chapter 34 in Edmonton.
“One of the best ways to measure our success and improve our service is to ask our members for the opinion directly. I’d like to thank each and every one of the thousands of AUPE members who participated in the survey for their contribution,” said AUPE President Guy Smith.
AUPE conducted its first survey of the union membership in 2009.
