EDMONTON – A new collective agreement has been ratified by Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides employed by Capital Care, a direct subsidiary of Alberta Health Services based in Edmonton.
Your AUPE bargaining committee is pleased to inform you that on Sept. 13, the employer, Alberta Health Services, ratified our new collective agreement.

This was the seventh meeting with the employer and a number of non-monetary issues have been resolved since bargaining began.

AUPE’s Auxiliary Nursing Care bargaining committee met for three days of negotiations with Alberta Health Services at union headquarters in Edmonton. Locals 040, 041, 043, 044, 045 and 046 have been in bargaining with the employer for a new collective agreement since the end of March.
