Bargaining update — Members ratify CBA with Mackenzie County
Members of Local 118 Chapter 008 have ratified a four-year collective agreement with their employer, Mackenzie County in the northwest corner of Alberta.
The four-year agreement, ratified by the membership on Oct. 17 at a vote in La Crete, includes the following highlights:
• Wage increases of 4 per cent in the first year and 3.25 per cent in each of the remaining three years of the contract.
• A $1.50-per-hour market adjustment to the Equipment Operator (I and II) classification.
• A boot allowance increase to $200.
