Tentative Agreement Summary
Your bargaining committee met with the Employer on Sept 26 and 27th. Although the parties were scheduled to meet with a mediator on these dates, they were able to reach a Tentative Agreement (TA) without the mediator’s involvement . The AUPE Bargaining committee unanimously agreed to recommend acceptance of this TA to it’s membership.
The ratification meeting with the bargaining committee and vote will take place on October 17th at the “Heritage Centre” in La Crete. This will be a dinner/ratification meeting commencing at 5:30 pm. Members will have the opportunity to ask the bargaining committee questions about the tentative agreement and will be able to cast their ballots on the contract.
