AUPE Local 054 sets up trust for children of Cathie Heard
EDMONTON – AUPE Local 054 has set up a trust fund for the children of Cathie Heard, an active union member who was found dead at the site of a house explosion in north Edmonton on June 20.
Local 054 Chair Tonya Malo said the fund was set up to help Heard’s children with their education and other future expenses. Donations can be made to the “Heard Trust Fund” at any Alberta Treasury Branch, said Malo.
