AUPE encourages members to attend Join Together Alberta meetings this week
CAMROSE – The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees is encouraging its members to attend meetings hosted by Join Together Alberta, a coalition of groups dedicated to protecting public services in Alberta.
The three meetings, in Camrose, Red Deer, and Hinton, are focused on action locally to ensure that the level of public services is strengthened rather than reduced. Meeting attendees will define their most crucial local issues and brainstorm about what other resources are needed to ensure that those issues are addressed.
The Camrose meeting will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 3, at the Chuck McLean Arts Centre, 4809 – 52 Street, from 7-9 pm. The Red Deer meeting will take place on Thursday, Mar. 4, at a location to be determined, from 7-9 pm. The Hinton meeting will take place on Tuesday, Mar. 9, at the CEP 855 Union Hall, 10 122 Brewster Drive, from 7-9 pm.
