The 2011 AUPE Curling Funspiel took place Mar. 25 and 26 at the Spruce Grove Curling Club. A good time was had by all participants.

BARRHEAD – AUPE members, their families and friends are urged to come out today and support the more than 500 ANC and GSS employees of the Shepherd’s Care Foundation at five continue care facilities in Edmonton and Barrhead.
Shepherd's Care Mill Woods rally
More than 100 AUPE members, activists, the pubic and supporters joined AUPE Local 047 for an information picket outside the Mill Woods Care Centre March 29. The bargaining committee is looking for improvements to contracting out language, work hours, benefits, wages and workload. The crowd’s message was met with honks of support from passing motorists.
Shepherd's Care Kensington Rally
Approximately 100 AUPE members, activists, supporters and the public joined members of Local 047 at an information picket held March 28 at Kensington Village, a Shepherd’s Care Foundation facility, in Edmonton. The rally was in support of the more than 500 ANC and GSS workers who have reached a bargaining impasse with management at the facility. The bargaining committee is looking for improvements to contracting out language, hours, wages and workload.
