Local 043, Chapter 005, representing ANC employees of Alberta Health Services in Hinton and Jasper, met in Hinton on Dec. 2 for a Christmas meeting.
Alberta's position on CPP makes province black sheep of federal family
KANANASKIS – The president of Alberta’s largest union is calling on Alberta’s Minister of Finance and Enterprise Ted Morton to get on board with other provinces to push for increases to the Canada Pension Plan in order to strengthen the program and make it more secure for the bulk of Albertans.

Local 056, Chapter 002, representing GSS workers in Jasper, Edson, Hinton, and Seton, met for a Christmas meeting on Dec. 1 in Hinton.
Local 095 Children's Christmas Party
Members of AUPE Local 095 hosted close to 450 children at their children’s Christmas party this year at the Thorncliffe Community Centre in Calgary. The kids enjoyed face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon animals, singing, pizza, hotdogs and beverages.
Complaint formally filed with Alberta Labour Relations Board
HANNA – The AUPE Local 118/020 Bargaining Committee representing close to 100 full time employees of the Special Areas Board in Hanna is pressing ahead with a bargaining-in-bad-faith complaint made against the employer in November.
