CAMROSE – AUPE Local 047/002 members employed by the Bethany Group in the Camrose area have ratified a new, three-year collective agreement that will take effect April 1, 2009.
EDMONTON – Employees of the Alberta Cancer Board and Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission will not have to pay for any costs associated with their pension being transferred on April 1, thanks to actions taken by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees.

EDMONTON – The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees will hold the next regular meeting of its Provincial Executive on April 3 and 4 in Medicine Hat to show support for employees of the Valleyview Care Centre who have been on strike since March 13.
