JASPER – The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees’ eighth annual Labour School will be opened tomorrow evening by President Doug Knight.

LETHBRIDGE – Members of AUPE employed at the private sector Edith Cavell Care Centre have ratified a new collective agreement that provides the same pay increases as those received by employees of public health care facilities throughout Alberta.
The bargaining committee for AUPE Local 047/028 members employed in General Support Services at St. Albert’s Youville Home met at union headquarters Feb. 24 to prepare for bargaining.
