ANC bargaining update - Employer ratifies
Your AUPE bargaining committee is pleased to inform you that on Sept. 13, the employer, Alberta Health Services, ratified our new collective agreement.
The vote ratified a tentative agreement reached between AUPE and the employer June 27. Members ratified the tentative agreement Aug. 16.
Highlights of the three-year agreement, retroactive to April 1, 2012, include a wage increase of three per cent for each year of the agreement, improvements to the health flex account, improvements to health and wellness benefits and improvements to vacation time.
The Alberta Health Services agreement also sees the reinstatement of the northern living allowance, with improvements.
The agreements cover AUPE members of locals 040, 041, 043, 044, 045 and 046.
A draft copy of the new collective agreement will be made available on AUPE’s website shortly. The bargaining committee is working on proofing the agreement and getting out the final version for print.
