ANC bargaining update – locals 040, 041, 043, 044, 045 and 046
Your bargaining committee is pleased to report the tentative agreements reached between AUPE and Alberta Health Services, Covenant Health, Lamont Health Care Centre and Gray House Guild have been ratified following a mail-in ratification vote at union headquarters Aug. 16.
Highlights of the three-year agreements, retroactive to April 1, 2012, include a wage increase of nine per cent (three per cent each year over the life of the agreement); improvements to the health flex account; improvements to health and wellness benefits; improvements to vacation time; and the reinstatement of the northern living allowance, with improvements (AHS only).
The employers are expected to ratify the agreements in mid-September.
